I am still trying to get to the bottom of this one but the word is out that NASCAR has finally seen the light and decided to move the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship to Las Vegas.Personally, I think this is great, as I will probably be headed to Sin City twice a year now.
Obviously, the first thing I thought was that this was a belated April Fool's joke but even NASCAR's PR machine is saying the deal is in the works — but not set in stone.
And Bruton Smith was happy as a clam in the media center at Texas Motor Speedway when he was talking about the move.
