Shelby 427 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to begin shortly

The green flag is scheduled to drop in the next 30-minutes for the Shelby 427 and right now the drivers are being introduced to the crowd and making there away around the track to get to their racecars.
No real problems here, except some brainchild at the Las Vegas Police Department of the Clark County Sheriff's Department decided to close down the access gate that is used by the media to get to the track. After some maneuvering and off-roading in my rental car I was able to get to the infield tunnel. If you have ever thought about buying a used rental car — DON'T!

Good pictures. I take it you weren't driving an SUV?? Better be careful you know how LVPD likes to stop NASCAR drivers bet they like fans better.
